Pre Purchase Survey

Renovation & Extension to Farmhouse Garrettstown, Co. Cork
CroCon provided a full consultancy service from initial sketch designs, planning permission and supervision of construction stage for this domestic refurbishment of a historic structure to create a contemporary home.

Construction of Housing Estate at
Milltown, Co. Kerry
Crocon Engineers Ltd were appointed as Assigned Certifier/Design Certifier for the construction of these houses to certify the works were carried out in accordance with the building control regulations and to issue a certificate of compliance (design) as required under the new building control regulations SI9.
As design certifier, Crocon Engineers Ltd were responsible for the preparation of the drawings, specification and particulars for the design of the buildings, and ensuring that ancillary certificates were obtained for any other members of the design team.

Refurbishment & Extension to The Model School, Dunmanway
CroCon provided Conservation Engineering services for Building fabric repair works – internally & externally – carried out under the DoES Emergency Works Scheme. Restoration and conservation of a Model School first constructed c1840. The conservation work was carried out on a ‘conserve as is’ and a ‘like for like’ repair basis and generally used natural materials such as Natural Hydraulic Lime, timber, Natural slate and mineral paints.
Temporary Works
Crocon Engineers Ltd have provided temporary works design solutions to construction contractors on a range of structural and civil projects.
Our service can include bespoke temporary structural solutions, formwork, piling and water related infrastructure (e.g. drainage, attenuation). Land Mapping
Registration Mapping & Conveyancing service involves taking detailed dimensions and recording the dimensions of the boundaries of a property and providing advice in relation to the condition and nature of these.
A detailed examination will be carried out of the title maps which might take different formats, depending on the age and location of the property.
A detailed exercise will be carried out to compare the dimensions of the boundaries set out on the ground and the manner that those boundaries are represented on the map provided.
